“My living room and I mean ‘living’! It’s my bedroom, lounge room and office. It’s mine and only mine.”

“Moses the moose was given to me by a wonderful guy and has been with me for a few years. He’s my dream-catcher and protector whilst I’m sleeping.”

“I spend a lot of time at my desk. It’s where I communicate on the inter-web, write in my journals, research my next hobby or interest, learn new tarot spreads, meditate…just about everything goes on in this space.”

Mel’s favourite piece – her butterflies, Derek and Darrell. “They are my connection to nature, they’re also just damn handsome.”

“This oriental jacket is one of my faves. I bought it a few years ago in Nolita, New York from a tiny vintage clothing store. It’s original 60s and feels amazing on. I would love to know the background of it’s previous owner.’

“I picked up this fan up from a vintage store in Sydney. I couldn’t tell you where, but it’s been with me for over fifteen years. I love a touch of oriental around the home and in my wardrobe. It reminds me of movies like ‘In the mood for love’ by Wong Kar-Wai. Such great style.”

“This sticker was given to me recently by an African-American man in a record store in Austin, Texas. I was sitting on a stool listening to a country singer, Delbert McLinton, who turned up to promote his latest album, and he said he got them printed after Trump was elected to remind people what American is becoming.”
